Institutionalization and Broader Use of the E-Consulate System for Increased Efficiency in the Service Delivery of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The "Project for the Institutionalization and Broader Use of the E-Consulate System for Increased Efficiency in the Service Delivery of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs" strengthens the institutionalization and expansion of Türkiye's e-Consulate system to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and citizen satisfaction in consular services worldwide. Building on UNDP–Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperation since 1989, it focuses on integrating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to deliver paperless, user-centered services. The initiative improves institutional and individual capacities within the Ministry, expands citizen outreach and awareness, and establishes a model for e-governance in foreign service delivery. By embedding digital transformation in core operations, the project contributes to greater transparency, accountability, and service delivery.
