Political Systems and Democratic Governance Diagnostic

The Political Systems and Democratic Governance Diagnostic (https://bit.ly/4ogYJ6p) has been produced for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) with support from the UK Government Politics and Governance Centre of Expertise (CoE) by Alina Rocha Menocal of the Thinking and Working Politically Community of Practice and Tom Wingfield. The tool has been designed to help international actors analyse political systems, identify challenges to democratic governance, and design context-appropriate strategies. It provides guidance on inclusion, accountability, rule of law, and resilience, offering frameworks for supporting locally led change, mitigating risks, and integrating governance into wider development programming.
